Training courses in cargo securing

MariTerm AB can offer cargo securing trainings anywhere in Northern Europe according to below:

Basic training – Cargo Securing with theory and practice (1 Day)

Training for packers at industries, vehicle drivers, forwarders, terminal workers, railway personnel, authority representatives, as well as other persons working in the transportation chain.

 

Basic training – Cargo Securing in containers and on flat racks (1 Day)

Training for personnel at industries and terminals that load cargo in containers and/or on flatracks. The training may be carried out on site or online.

 

During the training, current cargo securing rules, regulations and standards are covered and the special methods and techniques that apply to cargo securing in containers and on flat racks.

The objective with the training is to achieve safe and effective transports. Damage to people, the environment and property during the handling and transport of cargo can be avoided through increased understanding of the forces that cargo are exposed to during transport by road, rail and sea, as well as how cargo must be secured in containers and on flat racks to withstand these forces.

 

Cargo Securing for instructors with theory and practice (2 Days)

Training for those who shall instruct other people in cargo securing at road hauling companies and terminals.

 

Training for port captains, masters and officers (2 days)

Course according to the STCW requirements.

 

Cargo securing for able seamen and stevedores (2 days)

Course with theory and practice according to STCW for seamen (Abs), stevedores and cargo surveyors.
